Terms
Billing
Once a year, by invoice. Check accepted. No card kept on file.
License
One license per cemetery, good for two computers. The whole office can use it — there is no charge per person.
Requirements
Runs on Windows and macOS. No internet connection is needed to run the app; offices without one can activate over the phone.
Updates and support
Both are included in the yearly price. There is nothing extra to buy.
Renewal
The license renews once a year, by invoice. Sexton begins reminding you a month before the date, and keeps working normally for thirty days after it, so a renewal that waits on the next board meeting changes nothing. After that grace period the app stops opening the register until the renewal is settled — and exporting every record you have stays available on that same screen, renewed or lapsed.
Your records
They live on your machine, and can be exported to plain spreadsheets at any time. If you ever stop, the register is still yours.
Sexton keeps the office records. It does not take card payments from families, and it does not publish a search page for the public.
